What exactly counts as a revision, and what happens after five?
A revision is any change request you send us, and there is no limit on how much you put into one. Updating text, adding a page, changing a colour, adding a foreman to the team page, updating your allowances, swapping a seasonal promotion: all revisions. So is something far larger. "Build two new trade pages, here is the full copy, layout and project photography for both" is one revision, not four. Five revisions are included every month at no extra cost on every plan. After the fifth, each additional revision is a flat $20, so you always know the price before you ask, and there is no cap on how many you can buy in a month and no hourly billing. Every revision is completed within 2 to 5 working days of you sending it, no matter the size.
Are third-party integrations included?
The form submissions on your own site are included: every estimate request and contact form pushes into any CRM you run, by direct API, Zapier or Make, at no extra charge. Anything beyond that is not included. Connecting a project management or job costing platform, a scheduling system, an accounting tool, a payment processor or a custom API is quoted and charged separately. We price it before we build it, so you decide with the number in front of you rather than finding it on an invoice afterwards.
What do I actually pay, and when?
Groundworks is $127 a month, Framing is $267 a month plus AI usage, and Turnkey is $647 a month. Every plan carries the same $697 one-time build fee. You pay only the monthly invoice up front. The $697 is charged after your site is live and you have signed off on it.
How long are the articles, and who writes them?
Every article is research based and 2,500 to 3,200 words. That is the point of them. A 600 word AI-padded post ranks for nothing and nobody finishes reading it, whereas a long researched piece on what a home addition costs in your county, or how the permit process actually runs there, earns links and gets quoted by AI assistants. Groundworks publishes two a week. Turnkey publishes three a week to exactly the same standard, and adds three social image posts and two reels.
What does the project cost estimator do?
It answers the number a homeowner is already trying to work out before they will call anybody: roughly what this job costs. They choose the type of work, the square footage, the finish level and the site conditions, and they get a realistic range rather than silence. You get an enquiry that arrives with the project described, so your estimator is qualifying instead of interviewing.
Can I add other languages?
Yes, for $100 one time per language. It matters how it is built. The usual offer bolts a browser translate widget onto the page, which creates no new addresses, so Google has nothing extra to index and you still rank in one language. We build a separate real page for each language, each with its own URL, title, meta description and schema, plus reciprocal hreflang tags linking the versions. Each language version can then rank on its own and be quoted on its own by AI answer engines.
How is this website faster than the one I have?
We build on the Astro framework, which ships almost no JavaScript and serves static-first pages from Cloudflareโs global edge. There is no plugin bloat like WordPress and no page-builder overhead like Wix or GHL. We guarantee a 90+ Google PageSpeed score, often 100, on both mobile and desktop.
How long until my site is live?
Groundworks goes live 7 days after the onboarding call. Framing takes 10 days, because the AI receptionist and the chat agent have to be trained on your trades, your service area and your pricing before they can answer for you. Turnkey takes 15 days while the content engine and the Google Business Profile work are set up. The clock starts at onboarding, not at payment.
What do the weekly pricing updates cover?
Whatever you publish a number for. Allowances by finish level, per square foot ranges by trade, design fees, service call and consultation rates, seasonal offers, and financing terms if you advertise them. Send the new figures and they are live that week, so your site and your proposal never disagree in front of a client.
Why does the AI Engine need A2P 10DLC registration?
US carriers require any business sending SMS from a 10-digit number to register the brand and the campaign first. Without it your messages are filtered or blocked outright, which is worse than not texting at all because you believe the message went out. We file the registration as part of your Framing setup and the carrier fee is passed through at cost.
What is the usage fee on Framing?
The $267 covers the AI receptionist, the chat widget, the SMS, Messenger and Instagram agent and the call analysis reporting agent. On top of that sits a usage fee covering AI minutes and message volume, billed at cost with no markup. A quiet winter costs less than a busy spring, which is how it should work.
Do I keep my domain and see my own leads?
Yes. One free domain is included if you need one, and if you already own one we point it at the new site so nothing changes for your existing clients and referral partners. Every form pushes into whatever CRM you already run, so the leads are yours and they land where your team is already looking.
What if I already have a website?
We rebuild it. You keep your domain, your existing URLs are redirected so you do not lose rankings you already have, and the content worth keeping is migrated. Your current site stays up until the new one is live, so there is never a window where a homeowner finds nothing.
When will I start ranking?
With fast pages, real location pages, schema and clean sitemap, robots and llms files, we guarantee your website starts ranking in your service area within 3 to 5 months. Anybody promising you day-one rankings is not being straight with you.
